Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc-shaped heater made of MoSi2 having high connecting strength and stable production process by connecting many U-shaped heater members having a heating part, arranged in parallel and heat-bonding the heaters in an arc shape so as to be capable of fitting to the inner wall of a heating furnace or the like, and provide a method and a device for manufacturing the heater.
SOLUTION: This arc-shaped heater made of MoSi2 having a continuous wave form is characterized in that the U-shaped heater members having a parallel part are alternately turned and connected each other at their ends, the parallel surfaces of the U-shaped heater members keep a certain angle, and the U-shaped heater members have an arc-shape surface of a constant curvature in the connecting direction.
