Abstract:
To surely protect equipment arranged in an electric overhead line and to eliminate the adjustment of an arcing horn by surely performing discharge in also a ground fault in an electric traction support column such as a steel pipe column having low grounding resistance.
This device protects equipment from the ground fault of a power feeding circuit (feeder circuit) of the electric overhead line. A lighting arrester Ar performing discharge earlier than an air discharge gap G1 is disposed between a pair of arcing horns 5f and 5h formed with the air discharge gap G1.
