PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the construction of an abnormality determination device that determines abnormal opening of a connection member by which electrical continuity between blocks constituting a battery pack is cut off.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination device of the present invention is applied to a battery pack 10 provided with blocks BL1-BL3 formed by a plurality of series-connected battery cells B11-B36 and wires W1, W2 for connecting the blocks BL1-BL3 together in series, the abnormality determination device comprising a monitoring circuit 20 for detecting the voltages of the wires W1, W2 in the blocks BL1-BL3 and wires W1, W2; diodes DW1, DW2 connected in parallel to the wires W1, W2; and a switch SW for forming a closed circuit that includes the wires W1, W2 and the battery cells B11-B36 and thereby sending a current to the wires W1, W2, the abnormality determination device making determination when a charge/discharge current is not flowing to the battery pack 10 as to whether or not there is abnormal opening in the wires W1, W2 on the basis of a value detected by the monitoring circuit 20 while a closed circuit is formed by the switch SW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
