Title:
ABNORMALITY DETECTING METHOD OF TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND POWER SUPPLY UNIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006004655
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To precisely detect adherence abnormality when a plurality of temperature sensors are used for monitoring of a battery.

The power supply unit 1 comprises a battery pack for containing a plurality of battery jars 14.0-14.m-1, a plurality of the temperature sensors 12.0-12.m-1 for detecting temperatures of a plurality of the battery jars 14.0-14.m-1 respectively, a current sensor 16 for detecting a current flowing in the battery pack, and a status monitor 6 and an abnormality detecting device 8 of a detecting portion for detecting the abnormality of a plurality of the temperature sensors 12.0-12.m-1. In the detecting portion, charge and discharge are performed in the battery pack, and then the abnormality is reported when the case that a deviation in output values of a plurality of the temperature sensors at a judgment time is larger than a predetermined first value and also a fluctuation range of each of a plurality of the temperature sensors is less smaller than a predetermined second value is detected a plurality of times.
