Abstract:
To provide an abnormality detector of a fuel filter capable of detecting clogging of a fuel filter more appropriately.SOLUTION: An ECU 80 comprises a pump control unit 83, a detection unit 81, and an abnormality determination unit 84. The pump control unit 83 drives a supply pump 30 under a plurality of operating conditions with different suction times per cycle of a plunger. The detection unit 81 detects the number of pumping times of the supply pump 30 when the supply pump is driven under the plurality of operating conditions. The abnormality determination unit 84 determines whether or not a fuel filter 13 is clogged based on a comparison of the number of pumping times corresponding to each of the plurality of operating conditions detected by the detection unit 81.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
