Abstract:
To attain both of restraint of erroneous determination and assurance of abnormal determination opportunity in abnormality determination of an intercooler.SOLUTION: An abnormality determination device of an intercooler for cooling intake air of an internal combustion engine includes a cooling water flow rate change unit for changing a flow rate of cooling water exchanging heat with the intake air in the intercooler, and a determination unit for determining abnormality of the intercooler on the basis of a change amount of a temperature of the intake air in the downstream side of the intercooler when the flow rate of the cooling water is changed by the cooling water flow rate change unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
