Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a diagnostic apparatus in an image recognition system capable of quickly and accurately detecting a disconnection of output line and baking of an image sensor.
SOLUTION: In a first mode, a histogram calculation means 11 for applying prescribed calculation to an image signal captured by an image recognition section 3 to produce a density histogram and an abnormality determination means 12 for analyzing the density histogram produced by the histogram calculation means 11 to discriminate the presence/absence of a fault are used: and in a second mode, a memory means 21 for receiving information of the image signal captured by the image recognition section 3 to store the information and a comparison/discrimination means 22 for reading the information items of the image signals of a plurality of images temporally different with respect to a target pixel from the memory means 21, mutually comparing them, and discriminating the mutual difference are used, for the abnormality diagnosis and the abnormality diagnostic apparatus determines it abnormal when the information items are the same.
