PURPOSE: To detect conduction abnormality due to insulating foreign substances and imperfect contact caused by mingled minute foreign substances by providing a high voltage power equipment with a sensor, so that the frequency component peculiar to minute signal caused by insulation abnormality, conduction abnormality and mingled minute foreign substances is detected.
CONSTITUTION: The signals from a detector 50, detected by various sensors 50a-50n attached to a gas insulation equipment 1, is collected at a field panel 1000 assigned near the equipment 1. The field panel 1000 amplifies and digitalizes weak signal for long-range transfer. Further, to raise reliability in diagnosis, soundness of sensors is automatically checked, and based on a specified algorism, presence of equipment foreign substances is examined as a primary examination. The information processed at the field panel 1000 is transferred to a main office panel 3000 through a transfer part 2000. The main office panel 3000 performs, based an the abnormality signals, etc., from the field panel 1000, collective diagnosis, and the same time through a man-machine interface, the result and action/means, etc., are displayed.
