Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an abnormality monitoring method of a generation plant which achieves higher monitoring accuracy by detecting the finest abnormality at a high sensitivity using a threshold fixed and moreover with no need for increasing labor of an operator.
CONSTITUTION: A plant model M1 is prepared beforehand to indicate the behavior of a generation plant and changes of a measuring signal 3 and stored into simplified model data output device 8. In operation, the measuring signal 3 is inputted into the output device 8 to prepare a simplified model M2 in which non-observation value with a changing range by a plant output supposed to be limited is linearized from the plant model M1 corresponding to the output state of the plant at the present time. Then, an estimation of the non-observation value is performed with a non-observation value calculator 9 based on the simplified model M2 and the measuring signal 3. The estimated value obtained of the non-observation value is compared with a threshold preset by a comparator 4 and when the threshold is exceeded, abnormality of the plant is notified.
