PURPOSE: To enable flexible dealings for the abnormality generation, by providing a display means which displays the abnormality processing information stored in a memory means together with an alarm message, at the abnormality detection time by an abnormality detection means.

CONSTITUTION: In the case of abnormality being generated on a machine tool, the abnormality thereof is detected by an abnormality detection means 46. On the other hand, memory means 42, 43 store the abnormality processing information editted at the external part corresponding to a prestored alarm message. Then, at the abnormality detection time by the abnormality detection means 46, a display means 32 displays the abnormality processing information stored in the memory means 42, 43 together with the alarm message. Consequently, flexible dealings can be performed at the user side at the abnormality generation time.
