To provide an abrasion-resistant hard film coated with a Cr-based film, which does not cause film exfoliation and abnormal abrasion but has remarkably improved abrasion resistance, and in addition, has solid lubrication and non-affinity.

The abrasion-resistant hard film includes coating layers formed of multilayered films provided on a steel-based substrate. In a with multilayed film steel material, at least one layer out of the coating layers includes a TiAlN-based film which includes at least Ti, Al and N as a constituent element; and the other layer except the TiAlN-based film out of the coating layers includes a Cr-based film which includes one or two elements of Cr, Si or B as a metal composition and one or more elements of C, N or O as a non-metallic composition. The Cr-based film has a nitride phase of Si and/or a nitride phase of B in a Cr compound phase.
