Abstract:
To provide an abrasive cloth with excellent polishing stability and excellent easy-to-process property through abrasive cloth manufacturing process, which has a reinforcement layer on at least one side thereof and is favorably used for polishing aluminum alloy substrates and glass substrates used for magnetic recording disks with superhigh finish accuracy.
The abrasive cloth has microfibers on the surface thereof and comprises three layer structure including a microfiber layer 1, adhesive layer 2, and reinforcement layer 3. The adhesive layer has a discontinuous structure in the plane direction.
