Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform polishing work without generating surface damage of a workpiece and with high efficiently in accordance with various polishing purposes with polishing power adjusted by forming a soft abrasive part which is softer than a hard abrasive part and with which this hard abrasive part is partly covered.
CONSTITUTION: A surface of a hard abrasive part 2 is partly coated with a soft abrasive part 3. Thus by adjusting polishing power, either removal of a burr 8 generated in an edge part 7 of a workpiece (helical plastic part) 6 or chamfering can be performed without damaging a surface of the workpiece.
