PURPOSE: To obtain uniform and good abrasive performance, by previously coating abrasive grains with synthetic resin, forming a granular object and fixing the granular object adhesively to surfaces of a synthetic fiber mat of non-woven fabric abrasive used for a domestic scrubbing brush or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A granular object 8, previously coated with abrasive grains 6 by synthetic resin 7, is impregnated with an adhesive agent 10 and temporarily fixed to adhesive agent coated fiber surfaces of a synthetic fiber mat 9 in a wet condition. Then the coating synthetic resin 7 of the granular object 8 and the coating resin adhesive agent 10 are molten and hardened by drying and heating then uniformly further firmly secured to front and rear internal layers of the mat 9 individually without collectively condensing the abrasive grains 6 in the granular object 8.
