PURPOSE: To make a new, flat polishing surface easily securable in separating an abrasive sheet on the topmost layer when abrasive power weakens, and simultaneously make the whole abrasive lighter in weight as well as to make it easily handleable by laminating plural numbers of abrasive sheets with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on the backside each, free of separation in pile.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive layer 2 is installed on the backside of an abrasive sheet 1 provided with an abradant on the surface of a polyethyleneterephthalate-make film. Plural numbers of a suchlike abrasive sheet 1 are laminated in pile via this pressure sensitive adhesive 2, and when abrasive power has come down as geometric distortion occurs on a polishing surface, the abrasive sheet 1 on the topmost layer is separated, and a new, flat polishing surface is secured in this way.
