Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the accurate absolute position even in the case of occurrence of a steering angle accuracy error of a resolver of a torque sensor, looseness of a gear for connecting a steering wheel to an electric motor, or an electric angle absolute accuracy error of a resolver of the electric motor.
SOLUTION: In S900, the steering angle θt by the torque sensor is read. In S902, the electric angle θm by a motor rotation angle is read. In S908-S922, the rotational frequencies of the motor are acquired by θt, θm and the rotational frequency of the steering wheel, and the correct rotational frequency of the steering wheel is acquired from the rotational frequency of the motor which is the nearest to an integer value among all the acquired rotational frequencies of the motor. Then, the absolute position not influenced by various kinds of errors is determined from the acquired rotational frequency of the steering wheel and the steering angle θt by the torque sensor.
