PURPOSE: To certainly bond a surface material layer and an absorbing layer and to impart excellent body fluid diffusibility or excellent strength and deformation recovery properties at the time of the absorption of a liquid to the absorbing layer by mixing hot melt composite fibers or a plurality of hot melt fibers having different melting temps. with the absorbing layer, and heat-treating the absorbing layer and the surface material layer to integrally weld both layers through the hot melt fiber.

CONSTITUTION: In a sanitary napkin, a surface material layer 21 is arranged to an absorbing layer 20 over the range from the use surface thereof to a part of the non-use surface thereof and a leakproof material layer 22 is arranged to the non-use surface thereof while the absorbing layer and a surface material layer 21 are bonded and integrated by thermal fusion and the absorbing layer 20, the surface material layer 21 and the leakproof material layer 22 are bonded on the non-use surface side by an adhesive 23, and a shift preventing material 24 is provided to the rear of the leakproof material layer 22. Each of absorbing layers 10, 20 is constituted by mixing hot melt composite fibers or a plurality of hot melt fibers different in melting temp. with one or more kinds hydrophilic fibers such as fluffy pulp or rayon cotton being a main absorbing material and the absorbing layer 10, 20, and the surface material layers 11, 21 are heat-treated in a laminated state and the above-mentioned hot melt fibers are melted to weld the surface material layers 11, 21 to integrally bond the absorbing layers 10, 20 and the surface material layers 11, 21.
