Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article with excellent fit under a wearer's crotch to prevent leaks and excellent absorption comfortable in using.
This absorbent article has a liquid-permeable top sheet 7, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 8, and an absorbing layer 10 disposed between both sheets 7, 8. In this case, the absorbing layer 1 has at least one absorbing sheet 1 comprising a sheet material of a hydrophilized, water-permeable thermoplastic dry nonwoven fabric 2 with an areal density of 5 to 50 g/m2, applied with a thermoplastic resin, and furth with a highly water-absorbent polymer 6 placed on the thermoplastic resin by 30 to 400 g/m2 and held fixed by the thermoplastic resin.
