In a sanitary napkin 1 for which an absorber 4 is interposed between a liquid permeable surface sheet 3 and a back surface sheet 2 and a pair of left and right fitting embosses 10, 10 are formed along the almost longitudinal direction on both side parts of an area corresponding to at least a blood discharge port part H, for the absorber 4, a plurality of slits 20 are formed along two or more directions different from the longitudinal direction and width direction of the sanitary napkin 1 respectively in areas T₁ on both sides from the fitting emboss 10 and an area T₂ more on the rear side than the fitting emboss 10, and a plurality of slits 21 are formed along the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 1 in an area T₃ held between the fitting embosses 10, 10.
