Abstract:

To provide an absorbent article which suppresses leakage of excrement from the front and the back.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a leakage prevention groove formed by squeezing a surface sheet and an absorber in a thickness direction. The leakage prevention groove has a pair of leakage prevention vertical grooves positioned from a front region in the front of an intermediate region facing an excretion part of a wearer to a back region in the back and a pair of leakage prevention lateral grooves extending in a lateral direction in the respective front region and the back region. In each of the front region and the back region, when a pair of first virtual lines which pass through a part regulating a widest part where an interval between the pair of the leakage prevention vertical grooves in the lateral direction is the widest and which are parallel to the vertical direction are drawn, and a pair of second virtual lines which pass through outermost end parts of the leakage prevention lateral grooves in the vertical direction and are parallel to the lateral direction are drawn, a density of pulp of an absorbent core in a first region which is a region outside the pair of the first virtual lines in the lateral direction and is outside the pair of the second virtual lines in the vertical direction is equal to or lower than a density of pulp of the absorbent core in a second region which is outside the pair of the first virtual lines in the lateral direction and is located between the pair of the second virtual lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
