Abstract:
To provide an absorbent article which is excellent in tight contact property to the body of a wearer, and can track a motion of the wearer without discomfort.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 comprises: a flap part 6 extending outward from an outer edge of an absorber 4, and forming a contour of the absorbent article 1. The flap part 6 comprises: a pair of side flap parts 6S located outside in a lateral direction Y relative to a pair of virtual straight lines extending in a vertical direction X through an outermost end of the absorber 4 in the lateral direction Y. An outer edge of the side flap part 6S has; a forward narrow part 61 located in a front side in the vertical direction X; and a rearward narrow part 62 located in a rear side of the vertical direction X. The absorbent article comprises a rearward salient part 65 located between the rearward narrow part 62 and a vertical direction X rear end of the absorbent article 1, and protruding outward in the lateral direction Y relative to the rearward narrow part 62. A part located in a rear side of the vertical direction X relative to the rearward salient part 65 in the flap part 6, is formed in a tapered shape whose length in the lateral direction Y gradually decreases toward the vertical direction X rear end of the flap part 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
