PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has a diffusion sheet between a top sheet and an absorber, and which suppresses liquid return from the diffusion sheet to the top sheet.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeable back sheet, an absorber arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet, a diffusion sheet arranged between the top sheet and the absorber, and a cover sheet arranged between the top sheet and the diffusion sheet, in which the cover sheet is a sheet in which plural open holes are formed on a substrate, and the substrate is a synthetic resin film.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
