Abstract:
To distinctively identify a type of an absorbent article in a folded state from the side surface without impairing a function of a center line indication.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 1 of a vertically long shape includes an exterior sheet 3, an inner surface sheet 4, and an absorber 2 tightly held between the exterior sheet 3 and the inner surface sheet 4 for holding a body fluid by absorption. In the exterior sheet 3, a center line indication 11 is provided along a central line CL extending in a longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1. On both sides of the center line indication 11 of the exterior sheet 3, auxiliary patterns 13A, 13B are provided along the center line indication 11. In the absorbent article 1, the auxiliary patterns 13A, 13B are patterns which are not overlapped with the center line indication 11, are different patterns depending on the type of the absorbent article 1, and are provided in a region including a side surface region which is a side surface of a folded absorbent article 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
