Abstract:
To provide an absorbent heating system for a carbon dioxide recovery system which can reduce a supply amount of heat energy from outside of the carbon dioxide recovery system.SOLUTION: An absorbent heating system for a carbon dioxide recovery system comprises: a methane manufacturing apparatus which synthesizes methane from a gas containing carbon dioxide discharged from a regeneration tower; and a methane reboiler which heats absorbent discharged from the regeneration tower to supply the absorbent to the regeneration tower. The methane reboiler uses the methane synthesized at the methane manufacturing apparatus as a heating medium to heat the absorbent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
