Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent suitably used for an adsorption removal of strontium contained in water.SOLUTION: The strontium absorbent has amorphous barium aluminosilicate. The strontium absorbent preferably has BET specific surface area of 2 m/g to 250 m/g. Also the amorphous barium aluminosilicate preferably has molar ratio of SiO/AlOin a composition analysis of 1.5 to 3.5, BaO/AlOof 0.8 to 1.5 and AO/BaO of 0.01 to 0.3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
