Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing an absorber that includes sheet pieces containing synthetic fibers for inhibiting the deformation of the accumulation body contained in the absorber.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an absorber 100 containing a synthetic fiber 10b for an absorbent article. The method includes: a transportation process for transporting a multiple sheet pieces 10bh containing a synthetic fiber 10b to a recessed part 41 for accumulation through a duct 3; an accumulation process for accumulating the plurality of sheet pieces 10bh transported to the recessed part 41 for accumulation to obtain an accumulation body 100a as a component member of the absorber 100; and a coating process for placing the accumulation body 100a obtained on a belt-like core wrap sheet 100b transported, followed by coating the accumulation body 100a with the core wrap sheet 100b by folding both sides bR and bL along the transportation direction of the core wrap sheet 100b so as to cover both sides aR and aL along the transportation direction of the accumulation body 100a placed, at both sides along the transportation direction of the core wrap sheet 100b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
