Abstract:
To reduce the frequency of exchanging an absorbent material by efficiently absorbing an organic halogen compound from a process for treating a petroleum fraction and a mixed fluid of an inorganic halogen compound derived from crude oil and an organic halogen compound, and enhancing the absorbing ability of the halogen compound absorbent material.SOLUTION: An absorbent containing attapulgite (palygorskite) having high absorbing ability of organic halogen compounds is used. Further, by using an absorption column in which halogen compound absorbents containing the absorbent and zinc oxide are arranged in series, it is possible to enhance the processing ability of a fluid containing an organic halogen compound in a high concentration together with an inorganic halogen compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
