PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture a high water-absorbing fiber or film at a high speed, and to prevent the lowering of the working properties such as absorbability of the product, by making the surface of a specified water- swellable polymer material or the like absorbe a pair ion lubricating agent compound.
CONSTITUTION: A pair ion lubricating agent compound is made to be absorbed by the surface of a water-swellable or water-soluble polymer material or the like, composed of a water soluble ethylene unsaturated monomer material including anionic, ionic monomer, when the polymer material is extruded in dry, or finely granulated. The lubricating agent compound is preferably cationic di-C14-20-aliphatic-di-C1-4 alkyl quaternary ammonium compound or amphoteric aliphatic quaternary compound, particularly dihydrogenation beef tallow dimethyl anonium chloride. The polymer is preferably a copolymer of (metha)acrylic acid or maleic acid, and an unsoluble monomer, formed by 50-100 wt.% of ethylene unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, and 0-50 wt.% of ethylene unsaturated nonionic monomer.
