Abstract:
To provide a pacifier that keeps its hygienic condition even it is used continuously.
An absorbent sheet element 10 is attached to the pacifier 1 comprising a seat board 2 and a nipple 3 arranged thereon. The absorbent sheet element has an absorbent layer 12 inside of a water-permeable layer 11 and an insertion section 13 into which the nipple 3 is inserted. With such a configuration, slaver or the like is absorbed by the absorbent layer 12 and is held within the absorbent layer 12 even when a child uses the pacifier 1 continuously. Slaver or the like is thus prevented from accumulating on the main surface of the absorbent sheet element 10 that touches the skin of the child, and a hygienic condition is maintained.
