PURPOSE: To provide absorbent storing structure for a vacuum heat insulator which is a heat insulating wall in contact with high temperature, whose inside vacuum is capable of high level heat insulation despite the influence of such a high temperature and which can maintain gas absorbing capacity for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: An opening 2 which can be sealed is provided with opened in a heat insulating space S of a heat insulating wall 1, and an airtight vessel 4 in which a gas absorbent 3 is sealed inside is made connectable to this opening 2. This airtight vessel 4 is constituted with an inside gas suction port 5 which can be sealed, and when gas absorbing capacity is lowered, the capacity can be recovered by exchanging the airtight vessel.
