In this air-cooled absorption type refrigerating device where the indirect air-cooling method for removing heat only by sensible heat of a solution obtained by supercooling an absorbed solution flowing into the absorber by an air-cooled cooler, is applied as a cooling method of the absorber, a liquid film flow-down type plate structure is applied to an absorbing portion of the absorber 3, an absorbed solution distributing tray 6 for uniformly distributing the absorbed solution to the plate portion, is disposed on its upper portion, and the absorbed solution after supercooling is allowed to flow to both faces of the plate portion in a liquid film state to promote the absorption of a refrigerant vapor.
