To improve absorbing performance by rationally disposing spray holes for an absorbent so that a contact area with a liquid drop is enlarged without increasing size of a spray hole member and without disturbing a flow of refrigerant vapor.
An absorber is so constructed that an absorbent spray means 21 is provided on the upper part of an absorber body integrated with an evaporator. The absorbent spray means 21 is constructed by disposing absorbent spray holes 23 dispersed on the bottom of a tray 22. In the tray 22, the absorbent spray holes 23 are disposed to be dense in the flowing direction of refrigerant vapor introduced from an eliminator, to be coarse in a portion nearest the eliminator in the horizontal direction orthogonal to the flowing direction of refrigerant vapor, and to be comparatively more dense on the downstream side than the upstream side in the flowing direction of refrigerant vapor introduced from the eliminator, whereby the contract area with the liquid drop is enlarged without disturbing the flow of refrigerant vapor to improve the absorbability.
