To provide an absorption refrigerating machine in which corrosion of the water tube in a high pressure regenerator is prevented, especially in the vicinity of the inlet, and an inexpensive material having a low corrosion limit can be used for the water tube.
A high pressure regenerator 7 introduces pressure raised and heated diluting solution 14 delivered from an absorber and returns solution having a higher concentration to the absorber. The high pressure regenerator 7 comprises a water tube group 13 for passing the solution 14 disposed in the combustion chamber 16 for a burner 17, and a duct 12 for discharging exhaust gas from the combustion chamber 16. A flue group 15 communicating, on the outlet side thereof, with the exhaust gas duct 12 is disposed below the water tube group 13 and a duct 20 for introducing a part of exhaust gas from the burner 17 side of the combustion chamber 16 is disposed at the inlet of the flue group 15. The solution 14 is heated during a process passing between the flues 15 and boiled and since the solution 14 enters the water tube group 13 under that state, a high heat transfer rate can be attained.
