In this absorption refrigerating machine 1 comprising an evaporator 5 for evaporating a refrigerant inside, an absorber 6 connected with the evaporator 5 and absorbing the refrigerant by absorbing liquid inside, a regenerator 2 for regenerating the absorbing liquid used in the absorber 6, a steam pipe 7a inserted into the regenerator 2 for circulating the steam used as a heat source in regenerating the absorbing liquid, a steam control valve 13 and a steam cutoff valve 14 disposed on the steam pipe 7a for adjusting a flow rate of the steam, and a heat collector 16 disposed at a downstream side of the regenerator 2 on a drain pipe 7b and collecting heat of the steam, a steam drainage cutoff valve 17 for cutting off the circulation of the steam in the drain pipe 7b, is further disposed on the drain pipe 7b separately from the steam control valve 13 and the steam cutoff valve 14.
