Title:
ABSORPTION REFRIGERATING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3203039
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the response to changes in the temperature of cooling water of an absorption refrigerating machine responding to the control of the concentration of a absorbent solution and preventing the generation of freezing troubles.
CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant storage chamber 13 and a valve 14 are installed in a refrigerant passage from a condenser 7 to a vaporizer 8 where the refrigerant storage chamber 13 is designed to store a refrigerant solution temporarily and the valve 14 is adopted to control the flow rate of the refrigerant solution which flows out from the refrigerant storage chamber 13. At the same time, a water level sensor 16 is installed in the refrigerant storage chamber 13 while a cooling water temperature sensor 17 is installed in an inlet of cooling water so as to control the valve 14 in such a fashion that the current water level may approach a target water level which is determined by the temperature of cooling water. Since the refrigerant is supplied with a targeted optimum concentration (water level in the storage chamber) of solution responding to the temperature of cooling water from the current cooling water temperature and the water level in the storage chamber and there is not control time lag as a result, it is possible to prevent the generation of freezing definitely and protect the cooling capacity from being degraded due to its excessively diluted solution.
