To solve a problem wherein conventionally, since during installation of a large absorption water chiller and heater, the divided water heater and chiller is reassembled at the installation site by welding work, this causes a risk of fire due to sparks during the welding work and requires a large facility for the welding work and skilled welding technical staff.
A shell and a regenerator, a condenser, an evaporator and an absorber stored in the shell are constituted to be dividable into a plurality of portions in the longitudinal direction. The divided end face of the shell includes a plurality of elastic seal members for surrounding all of the devices individually or in a combinational method, a liquid reservoir part elastic seal member formed between liquid reservoir parts of the evaporator and the absorber, and a flange having a fixation means formed on the outer extended part. One flange and the other flange opposing to each other on the divided end faces are fixed by the fixation means so as to be dividable.
