Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption chiller heater capable of quickly detecting an accidental fire of a burner.SOLUTION: An absorption chiller heater 100 includes a high temperature regenerator 5, low temperature regenerator 6, condenser 7, evaporator 1, and absorber 2, wherein these are connected in pipes to form circulation paths of an absorption liquid and a refrigerant, respectively. The absorption chiller heater includes: a burner 4 for heating the absorption liquid in the high temperature regenerator 5; an accidental fire detection sensor 71 for detecting an accidental fire of the burner 4; a high temperature regenerator temperature sensor 62 for detecting a temperature of the high temperature regenerator 5; and a decision means 51 for deciding a presence of failure in the accidental fire detection sensor 71 and/or of the possibility of the accidental fire, when a temperature detected by the high temperature regenerator temperature sensor 62 decreases more than a predetermined temperature in a predetermined time, after an opening of a fuel control valve 4B for regulating an amount of fuel supplied to the burner 4 is opened more than a predetermined opening and continued for a predetermined time.
