Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an absorption type refrigerator and the operating method thereof, capable of achieving the optimum operation in responding to the temperature fluctuation of heating steam due to waste heat.
CONSTITUTION: The title machine includes a first, second and third generators 11, 12, 13, a first and second condensers 17-1, 17-2, an absorber 19 and an evaporator 18 while a pipeline L11, through which steam from the first generator 11 is conducted, is communicated with the third generator 13 or the first condenser 17-1 through a three-way valve 28. When a deciding means 32 decides that double effects can be obtained, the three-way valve 28 is switched so that steam flows from the first generator 11 into the third generator 13 but when it is decided that the double effect can not be obtained, the three-way valve 28 is switched so that the steam from the first generator 11 flows into the first condenser 17-1.
