Abstract:
To provide an absorption type refrigerator capable of attaining downsizing while securing required capability.SOLUTION: An absorption type refrigerator 1 configured by supplying a heating source H to cool or heat temperature control target fluid C in an absorption cycle of an absorbent S and a refrigerator V, comprises: an input heat quantity adjusting device 33 for adjusting quantity of the heating source H to be supplied to the absorption type refrigerator 1 per unit time; and a control device 60 for controlling the input heat quantity adjusting device 33. The control device 60 stores a rating upper limit value under a rating condition and a maximal upper limit value that is greater than the rating upper limit value, as an upper limit value for the quantity of the heating source H to be supplied to the absorption type refrigerator 1 per unit time, controls the input heat quantity adjusting device 33 within a range of the rating upper limit value at normal time and controls the input heating quantity adjusting device 33 within a range of the maximal upper limit value upon receiving a command that operation should be performed with greater output than rating output under a rating condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
