Abstract:
To provide an absorption type refrigerator which can be operated continuously.SOLUTION: An absorption type refrigerator 1 to which a heating source H is supplied and which cools or heats temperature control target fluid C in an absorption cycle of an absorbent S and a refrigerant V, comprises: an input heat quantity adjusting device 33 for adjusting a flow rate of the heating source H to be supplied to the absorption type refrigerator 1; a temperature control target fluid temperature detection part 54 for detecting a temperature of the temperature control target fluid C at a reference position; a monitoring physical quantity detection part which detects physical quantity to be monitored for appropriately operating the absorption type refrigerator 1; safety control means 65 for restricting the operation of the absorption type refrigerator 1 when a value detected by the monitoring physical quantity detection part exceeds an allowable upper limit value; and a control device 60 which controls the input heat quantity adjusting device 33. The control device 60 calculates a flow rate of the heating source H in the case where the temperature control target fluid C is at a preset temperature, and a flow rate of the heating source H in the case where the detected value in the monitoring physical quantity detection part is the allowable upper limit value, and controls the input heat quantity adjusting device 33 in such a manner that a minimum flow rate is introduced to the absorption type refrigerator 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
