In this absorption type refrigerating device, units U, U constituted by horizontally arranging an evaporator E and an absorber A, and integrating them are vertically stacked in two stages, a reflux flow circuit 6 is formed to reflux a dilute solution Ld from an outlet of the lower stage-side absorber A to an upper part of the upper stage-side absorber A in a state of being supercooled by an air-cooled heat exchanger Ha, further a refrigerant circuit 9 is formed to circulate the refrigerant to a heat exchanging portion 7 in the upper stage-side evaporator E and a heat exchanging portion 8 in the lower stage-side absorber A, and a fluorocarbon refrigerant is naturally circulated in the refrigerant circuit 9. As an evaporation temperature in the upper stage-side evaporator E can be increased, an evaporator temperature in the lower stage-side evaporator E can be increased, and the fluorocarbon refrigerant is naturally circulated in the refrigerant circuit 9, a pressure feeding means for circulating the refrigerant is unnecessary.
