To provide a throw-away absorptive article having a specific back waist element to improve the feel of a dynamic fit and to improve housing characteristics.
This absorptive article has a chassis assembly 22 having a liquid permeable top sheet 24, a liquid impermeable back sheet 26, an absorption core 28 and the stretchable back waist element. The stretchable back waist element forms the stretchable element to provide a wearing person with the more comfortable fit by comfortable fitting a diaper to the wearing person and maintaining the same. The stretchable back waist element has a hip panel 38, a central waist band panel 32 and a pair of side panels 36. The force/ elongation characteristics of the respective panels are so designed as to provide such a good fit and accommodation. The respective panels of the stretchable back waist element have adequately the structurally elastic-like film webs. The structurally elastic-like film(SELF) webs exhibit elasticity nature in the direction of elongation. The SELF webs of the respective panels provide the desired force/elongation characteristics of the respective panels.
