To provide an absorptive sheet which prevents warping or dislocation in use, achieves rapid penetration and absorption of liquid or water, and prevents the environmental pollution due to scattering or adherence of the liquid.
The absorptive sheet has an absorptive layer between a liquid penetration sheet and a water stop sheet. The liquid penetration sheet is made of a heat-adherent unwoven fabric and the absorptive layer consists of a water absorptive resin having 50-400 times' water absorption ability and a two-layered absorptive paper which sandwiches a pulp sheet. The water-stop sheet is made of a thermoplastic resin, with at least a unilateral tear strength not less than 550 cN. The liquid penetration sheet and the water-stop sheet sandwiches the water absorptive layer from the sides of the water absorptive resin and the pulp sheet, respectively. The smaller water absorptive layer included between the water absorptive sheet and the water stop sheet, and heat-sealed at the peripheral portions of the sheets.
