Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable dynamic brake capable of consuming an electromotive force, even if failure occurs in a system including any of a plurality of resistors, in a system including the other resistors.
An alternating current is converted into a direct current with a variable frequency to drive an electric motor, and an AC output from the electric motor is converted into a direct current. During the conversion, an electromotive force regenerated by the electric motor is consumed by the plurality of resistors and, if electromotive force consumption failure occurs in the system including any of the plurality of resistors, the electromotive force is consumed in the system including the other resistors.
