To provide an AC generator for vehicle which reduces bending stress generated when fixing a lead of a stator winding by screwing to a rectifying device.
The AC generator 1 for brushless vehicle comprises: a stator; a rotor; a field winding; the rectifying device 6 having a terminal base 61 with built-in heat radiation fins 62, 63 attached with a plurality of rectifying elements for rectifying an output voltage of the stator winding 22 and outputting it to the outside, and a metal terminal 68 for connecting the plurality of rectifying elements and the lead 22a of the stator winding 22; a rear housing 52; and a rear cover 8. The terminal base 61 has a radial extension part 61a-1 which has the built-in metal terminal 68 and radially extends around a rotating shaft; an L-shaped leg 61a having an axial extension part 61a-2 extending from the tip of the radial extension part along the rotating shaft; and a guide 61b which is integrally molded with the L-shaped leg 61a. The heat radiation fins 62, 63 have grooves which are formed so as to correspond to the shape of the guide 61b, and the guide 61b is inserted into the grooves.
