Abstract:
PURPOSE:To sufficiently contact cooling air to both a stator coil and a rotor coil by providing a cooling fan on the end of the pole. CONSTITUTION:After cooling air is flowed by a cooling fan 20 rotating together with a pole core 17 from a window 11a of a housing 11 to cool a bearing 15, the air becomes axial flow to pass between the air gap and the core 17, thereby cooling a rotor coil 19, and exhausted via a window 12b formed at the housing 12 while cooling the stator coil 13b. The fan 20 has a blade formed radially inwardly from part axially projected from the core 17 of a cylindrical tube, and has functions of centrifugal fan and an axial flow fan.
