Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator, suppressing temperature rise of stator winding and materializing a high output and low noise.
SOLUTION: The stator winding is constituted of a plurality of windings with a strand wound to a stator core with a wave winding in a slot at every sixth slot, laid alternately in the inside layer and the outside layer in the depth direction. Coil ends are composed with the turning part of strand folded at the end face side of the stator core, arranged in the peripheral direction. Insulation resin 25 is molded covering the coil end of stator winding entirely. An opposite surface of a rotor 25a and a bracket 25b to the insulation resin 25 is formed with a smooth plane without ruggedness.
