To provide accelerating equipment having an accelerator for transmitting rotation of a small water turbine for hydraulic power generation to a power generator, wherein accelerating performance of the accelerator is enhanced to increase power generation at low cost.

Three or four sets of a large gear and a small gear which are linked by a chain are provided between a rotary shaft of a water turbine body 1 and a rotary shaft of the power generator 2 to enhance accelerating rate. For example, a gear 7 with 60 teeth is mounted to the rotary shaft of the water turbine and linked with a gear 10 with 14 teeth by a chain 13. Then a gear 8 with 34 teeth is mounted by using components of a bicycle or the like and linked with a gear 11 with 14 teeth by a chain 14. Further, a gear 9 with 34 teeth is mounted and linked with a gear 12 with 17 teeth mounted to the rotary shaft of the power generator by a chain 15. Totally the accelerating rate comes to 20 or more.
