A monitoring start condition judging part 80 judges whether an engine 1 satisfies the monitoring start conditions for starting the judgment of satisfaction of start control conditions or not. The monitoring start conditions are judged based on vehicle speed, a degree of throttle opening, and the number of revolutions of the engine. Actually, at least the condition of the number of revolutions of engine among parameters such as vehicle speed is set to below the number of revolutions when a start clutch is connected. A start control condition judging part 81 judges whether abrupt acceleration is performed or not based on whether it is equivalent to throttle abrupt opening or not when it is judged by the monitoring condition judging part 80 that the condition is satisfied. An ignition retard part 82 gives a command that ignition time is delayed to an ignition time control part 83 to restrict an output when throttle abrupt opening is detected.
