Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out a continuous molding at a low cost, by elevating the temp. of a raw material slurry of an inorg. hydraulic material in a path wherein the slurry is transferred in a mold.

CONSTITUTION: The temp. of a raw material slurry of an inorg. hydraulic material is elevated in a path wherein the slurry is transferred in a mold. The compounding compsn. of the inorg. hydraulic material is comprised of 20W40wt.% Portland cement, 40W60wt.% silica sand, 5W15wt.% quick lime and 3W10wt.% gypsum and the ratio of water/the solid content is 0.5W0.75. The temp. of this compounded raw material slurry is elevated in a path wherein the slurry is transferred in a mold, e.g., in a pipe wherein it is transferred onto a traveling belt which is a mold. In this case, it is generally pref. that the temp. is elevated up to about 50W80°C. If a means by which steam is blown into the pipe is used, it is pref. because fast and uniform heating can be achieved.
